Walk in the footsteps of a NASA Space Biologist ...
NASA is pleased to announce the Hyper-G Competition, which begins September 1, 2005. This biological sciences competition allows teams of high school students from across the country to compete by proposing hypergravity (increased gravity) experiments. The selected team will have the opportunity to conduct their experiment at NASA's on a state-of-the-art ground based research facility located at Ames Research Center in California.

Every student team that submits a proposal will receive feedback from NASA scientists and engineers on their experiment.

Teachers have the unique opportunity to learn current hands-on methods in space biology and hypergravity research while guiding their students through the scientific process of developing and conducting an experiment.

Students will experience the real world application of biology, physics, engineering technology and teamwork while working on an interdisciplinary project.
